These 2 large hollow core doors served as my work tables for years, accumulating inks, over sprays, overprints and random marks and layers of lines and pigments. From their time as a table, I’ve build layers of new marks and experiments in my explorations with materials and processes, building up spaces between the many layers. I work in the spaces between the layers so these pieces have been a side project that I’ve been working on and adding to over the past 8 years. I think they are finally finished.
