This is a shoe I made of found objects at school. I chose tampons because I wanted to use a medium that would shock and surprise people when they looked closer. This specific type of tampons is provided at school and is in all the bathrooms. It’s something people don’t pay much attention to, so I thought why not use something that blends in to stand out a bit.
